Chapter 24

X Matthew

24:1 And YASHUWAH went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.

X Matthew

24:2 And YASHUWAH said to them, Do you* not see all these things? truly I say to you*, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

X Matthew

24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things be? and what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world?

X Matthew

24:4 And YASHUWAH answered and said to them, Take heed that no man deceive you*.

X Matthew

24:5 For many will come in my name, saying, I am the Messiah; and will deceive many.

X Matthew

24:6 And you* will hear of wars, and rumors of wars: see that you* are not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

X Matthew

24:7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in diverse places.

X Matthew

24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

X Matthew

24:9 Then they will deliver you* up to be afflicted, and will kill you*: and you* will be hated by all nations for my name's sake.

X Matthew

24:10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

X Matthew

24:11 And many false prophets will rise, and will deceive many.

X Matthew

24:12 And because iniquity will abound, the love of many will become cold.

X Matthew

24:13 But he who shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.

X Matthew

24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world, for a testimony to all nations; and then the end shall come.

X Matthew

24:15 Therefore when you* shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand),

X Matthew

24:16 Let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains:

X Matthew

24:17 Let him who is on the house-top not come down to take anything out of his house:

X Matthew

24:18 Neither let him who is in the field return back to take his clothes.

X Matthew

24:19 And woe to those who are with child, and to those who nurse infants in those days!

X Matthew

24:20 But pray that your* flight may not be in the winter, neither on the sabbath:

X Matthew

24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world to this time, nor will there ever be.

X Matthew

24:22 And unless those days should be shortened, no flesh would be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

X Matthew

24:23 Then if any man shall say to you*, Behold, here is the Messiah, or there; do not believe it.

X Matthew

24:24 For false Messiahs and false prophets will arise, and will show great signs and wonders; so that, if it were possible, they would deceive the very elect.

X Matthew

24:25 Behold, I have told you* before.

X Matthew

24:26 Therefore, if they shall say to you*, Behold, he is in the desert; do not go forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; do not believe it.

X Matthew

24:27 For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even to the west; so shall the coming of the Son of man also be.

X Matthew

24:28 For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be collected.

X Matthew

24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

X Matthew

24:30 And then the sign of the Son of man shall appear in heaven: and then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

X Matthew

24:31 And he will send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

X Matthew

24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig-tree; When its branch is yet tender and puts forth leaves, you* know that summer is near:

X Matthew

24:33 So likewise you*, when you* shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

X Matthew

24:34 Truly I say to you*, This generation shall not pass, till all these things shall be fulfilled.

X Matthew

24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

X Matthew

24:36 But of that day and hour no man knows, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

X Matthew

24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so will the coming of the Son of man also be.

X Matthew

24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,

X Matthew

24:39 And did not know until the flood came, and took them all away: so also will be the coming of the Son of man.

X Matthew

24:40 Then two will be in the field; one shall be taken, and the other left.

X Matthew

24:41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one shall be taken, and the other left.

X Matthew

24:42 Watch therefore; for you* do not know what hour your* Master comes.

X Matthew

24:43 But know this, that if the master of the house knew in what watch the thief would come, he would watch, and would not allow his house to be broken into.

X Matthew

24:44 Therefore you* also be ready: for in such an hour as you* do not think, the Son of man comes.

X Matthew

24:45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his Master has made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?

X Matthew

24:46 Blessed is that servant, whom his master, when he comes, shall find so doing.

X Matthew

24:47 Truly I say to you*, that he will make him ruler over all his goods.

X Matthew

24:48 But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My Master delays his coming;

X Matthew

24:49 And shall begin to beat his fellow-servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

X Matthew

24:50 The Master of that servant will come in a day when he does not look for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

X Matthew

24:51 And will cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
