Chapter 1
1st Thessalonians
1:1 Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, to the assembly of the Thessalonians which is in Elohim the Father, and in the Master YASHUWAH the Messiah: Grace to you*, and peace, from Elohim our Father and the Master YASHUWAH the Messiah.
1:2 We give thanks to Elohim always for you* all, making mention of you* in our prayers;
1:3 Remembering without ceasing your* work of faith, and labor of love, and patience of hope in our Master YASHUWAH the Messiah, in the sight of Elohim and our Father;
1:4 Knowing, brothers beloved by Elohim, your* election.
1:5 For our gospel did not come to you* in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance; as you* know what manner of men we were among you* for your* sake.
1:6 And you* became followers of us, and of the Master, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit:
1:7 So that you* were examples to all who believe, in Macedonia and Achaia.
1:8 For from you* sounded out the word of the Master not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your* faith toward Elohim is spread abroad; so that we do not need to speak anything.
1:9 For they themselves show of us what manner of entrance we had to you*, and how you* turned to Elohim from idols, to serve the living and true Elohim;
1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even YASHUWAH, who delivered us from the wrath to come.
