Proverbs
1:1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel.
Proverbs
1:2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
Proverbs
1:3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, judgment, and equity;
Proverbs
1:4 To give subtlety to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
Proverbs
1:5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain to wise counsels:
Proverbs
1:6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
Proverbs
1:7 The fear of YASHUWAH is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs
1:8 My son, hear the instruction of your father, and do not forsake the law of your mother:
Proverbs
1:9 For they shall be an ornament of grace to your head, and chains about your neck.
Proverbs
1:10 My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent.
Proverbs
1:11 If they say, Come with us, let us lay in wait for blood, let us lurk secretly for the innocent without cause:
Proverbs
1:12 Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those who go down into the pit:
Proverbs
1:13 We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:
Proverbs
1:14 Cast in your lot among us; let us all have one purse:
Proverbs
1:15 My son, do not walk in the way with them; refrain your foot from their path:
Proverbs
1:16 For their feet run to evil, and make hurry to shed blood.
Proverbs
1:17 Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.
Proverbs
1:18 And they lay in wait for their own blood; they lurk secretly for their own lives.
Proverbs
1:19 So are the ways of everyone who is greedy of gain; who takes away the life of its owners.
Proverbs
1:20 Wisdom cries outside; she utters her voice in the streets:
Proverbs
1:21 She cries in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she utters her words, saying,
Proverbs
1:22 How long, you* simple ones, will you* love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
Proverbs
1:23 Turn at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit to you*, I will make my words known to you*.
Proverbs
1:24 Because I have called, and you* refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
Proverbs
1:25 But you* have set at nothing all my counsel, and rejected my reproof:
Proverbs
1:26 I also will laugh at your* calamity; I will mock when your* fear comes;
Proverbs
1:27 When your* fear comes as desolation, and your* destruction comes as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish comes upon you*.
Proverbs
1:28 They shall call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
Proverbs
1:29 For they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of YASHUWAH:
Proverbs
1:30 They rejected my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
Proverbs
1:31 Therefore they shall eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
Proverbs
1:32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
Proverbs
1:33 But whoever listens to me shall dwell in safety, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
Proverbs
2:1 My son, if you will receive my words, and hide my commandments with you;
Proverbs
2:2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding;
Proverbs
2:3 Yes, if you cry after knowledge, and lift up your voice for understanding;
Proverbs
2:4 If you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hid treasures;
Proverbs
2:5 Then you shall understand the fear of YASHUWAH, and find the knowledge of Elohim.
Proverbs
2:6 For YASHUWAH gives wisdom: out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.
Proverbs
2:7 He lays up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to those who walk uprightly.
Proverbs
2:8 He keeps the paths of judgment, and preserves the way of his saints.
Proverbs
2:9 Then you shall understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; and every good path.
Proverbs
2:10 When wisdom enters into your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul;
Proverbs
2:11 Discretion shall preserve you, understanding shall keep you:
Proverbs
2:12 To deliver you from the way of the evil men, from the men who speak froward things;
Proverbs
2:13 Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
Proverbs
2:14 Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;
Proverbs
2:15 Whose ways are crooked, and who are froward in their paths:
Proverbs
2:16 To deliver you from the strange woman, even from the stranger who flatters with her words;
Proverbs
2:17 Who forsakes the guide of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her Elohim.
Proverbs
2:18 For her house inclines to death, and her paths to the dead.
Proverbs
2:19 None who go to her return again, neither do they take hold of the paths of life.
Proverbs
2:20 So you shall walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.
Proverbs
2:21 For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.
Proverbs
2:22 But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.
Proverbs
3:1 My son, do not forget my law; but let your heart keep my commandments;
Proverbs
3:2 For length of days, long life, and peace, they shall add to you.
Proverbs
3:3 Do not let mercy and truth forsake you: bind them about your neck; write them upon the tablet of your heart:
Proverbs
3:4 So you shall find favor and good understanding in the sight of Elohim and man.
Proverbs
3:5 Trust in YASHUWAH with all your heart; and do not lean on your own understanding.
Proverbs
3:6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths.
Proverbs
3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes: fear YASHUWAH, and depart from evil.
Proverbs
3:8 It shall be health to your body, and marrow to your bones.
Proverbs
3:9 Honor YASHUWAH with your substance, and with the first-fruits of all your increase:
Proverbs
3:10 So your barns shall be filled with plenty, and your presses shall burst out with new wine.
Proverbs
3:11 My son, do not despise the chastening of YASHUWAH; neither be weary of his correction:
Proverbs
3:12 For whom YASHUWAH loves he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delights.
Proverbs
3:13 Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gets understanding.
Proverbs
3:14 For its merchandise is better than the merchandise of silver, and its gain than fine gold.
Proverbs
3:15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things you can desire are not to be compared to her.
Proverbs
3:16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honor.
Proverbs
3:17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
Proverbs
3:18 She is a tree of life to those who lay hold upon her: and happy is everyone who retains her.
Proverbs
3:19 YASHUWAH by wisdom has founded the earth; by understanding he has established the heavens.
Proverbs
3:20 By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.
Proverbs
3:21 My son, do not let them depart from your eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:
Proverbs
3:22 So they shall be life to your soul, and grace to your neck.
Proverbs
3:23 Then you shall walk in your way safely, and your foot shall not stumble.
Proverbs
3:24 When you liest down, you shall not be afraid: but you shall lie down, and your sleep shall be sweet.
Proverbs
3:25 Do not be afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it comes.
Proverbs
3:26 For YASHUWAH will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being taken.
Proverbs
3:27 Do not withhold good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.
Proverbs
3:28 Do not say to your neighbor, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when you have it by you.
Proverbs
3:29 Do not devise evil against your neighbor, seeing he dwells securely by you.
Proverbs
3:30 Do not strive with a man without cause, if he has done you no harm.
Proverbs
3:31 Do not envy the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.
Proverbs
3:32 For the froward is an abomination to YASHUWAH: but his secret is with the righteous.
Proverbs
3:33 The curse of YASHUWAH is in the house of the wicked: but he blesses the habitation of the just.
Proverbs
3:34 Surely he scorns the scorners: but he gives grace to the lowly.
Proverbs
3:35 The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.
Proverbs
4:1 Hear, you* children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.
Proverbs
4:2 For I give you* good doctrine, do not forsake my law.
Proverbs
4:3 For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.
Proverbs
4:4 He taught me also, and said to me, Let your heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.
Proverbs
4:5 Get wisdom, get understanding: do not forget it; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
Proverbs
4:6 Do not forsake her, and she shall preserve you: love her, and she shall keep you.
Proverbs
4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all your getting get understanding.
Proverbs
4:8 Exalt her, and she shall promote you: she shall bring you to honor, when you embrace her.
Proverbs
4:9 She shall give to your head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory she shall deliver to you.
Proverbs
4:10 Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of your life shall be many.
Proverbs
4:11 I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in right paths.
Proverbs
4:12 When you go, your steps shall not be straitened; and when you runnest, you shall not stumble.
Proverbs
4:13 Take firm hold of instruction; do not let her go: keep her; for she is your life.
Proverbs
4:14 Do not enter into the path of the wicked, and do not go in the way of evil men.
Proverbs
4:15 Avoid it, do not pass by it, turn from it, and pass away.
Proverbs
4:16 For they do not sleep, unless they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.
Proverbs
4:17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.
Proverbs
4:18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more to the perfect day.
Proverbs
4:19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they do not know at what they stumble.
Proverbs
4:20 My son, attend to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.
Proverbs
4:21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart.
Proverbs
4:22 For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.
Proverbs
4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it flows the source of life.
Proverbs
4:24 Put away from you a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from you.
Proverbs
4:25 Let your eyes look right on, and let your eyelids look straight before you.
Proverbs
4:26 Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established.
Proverbs
4:27 Do not turn to the right hand nor to the left: remove your foot from evil.
Proverbs
5:1 My son, attend to my wisdom, and bow your ear to my understanding:
Proverbs
5:2 So that you may regard discretion, and that your lips may keep knowledge.
Proverbs
5:3 For the lips of a strange woman drop as a honey-comb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:
Proverbs
5:4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.
Proverbs
5:5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold upon hell.
Proverbs
5:6 Lest you should ponder the path of life, her ways are movable, so that you cannot know them.
Proverbs
5:7 Hear me now therefore, O you* children, and do not depart from the words of my mouth.
Proverbs
5:8 Remove your way far from her, and do not come near the door of her house:
Proverbs
5:9 Lest you give your honor to others, and your years to the cruel:
Proverbs
5:10 Lest strangers be filled with your wealth; and your labors be in the house of a stranger;
Proverbs
5:11 And you mourn at the last, when your flesh and your body are consumed,
Proverbs
5:12 And say, How I have hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;
Proverbs
5:13 And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined my ear to those who instructed me!
Proverbs
5:14 I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.
Proverbs
5:15 Drink waters out of your own cistern, and running waters out of your own well.
Proverbs
5:16 Let your fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.
Proverbs
5:17 Let them be only your own, and not for strangers with you.
Proverbs
5:18 Let your fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of your youth.
Proverbs
5:19 Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts stisfy you at all times; and be ravished always with her love.
Proverbs
5:20 And why will you, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?
Proverbs
5:21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of YASHUWAH, and he ponders all his goings.
Proverbs
5:22 His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be held with the cords of his sins.
Proverbs
5:23 He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.
Proverbs
6:1 My son, if you are surety for your friend, if you have stricken your hand with a stranger,
Proverbs
6:2 You are snared with the words of your mouth, you are taken with the words of your mouth.
Proverbs
6:3 Do this now, my son, and deliver yourself, when you have come into the hand of your friend; go, humble yourself, and make urgent request to your friend.
Proverbs
6:4 Do not give sleep to your eyes, nor slumber to your eyelids.
Proverbs
6:5 Deliver yourself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.
Proverbs
6:6 Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
Proverbs
6:7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
Proverbs
6:8 Provides her provisions in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest.
Proverbs
6:9 How long will you sleep, O sluggard? when will you arise out of your sleep?
Proverbs
6:10 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
Proverbs
6:11 So your poverty shall come as one who traveleth, and your want as an armed man.
Proverbs
6:12 A naughty person, a wicked man, walks with a froward mouth.
Proverbs
6:13 He winks with his eyes, he speaks with his feet, he teaches with his fingers;
Proverbs
6:14 Frowardness is in his heart, he devises mischief continually; he sows discord.
Proverbs
6:15 Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly; he shall be suddenly broken without remedy.
Proverbs
6:16 These six things YASHUWAH hates: even seven are abominations to him:
Proverbs
6:17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood.
Proverbs
6:18 A heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that are swift in running to mischief,
Proverbs
6:19 A false witness who speaks lies, and him who sows discord among brothers.
Proverbs
6:20 My son, keep your father's commandment, and do not forsake the law of your mother:
Proverbs
6:21 Bind them continually upon your heart, and tie them about your neck.
Proverbs
6:22 When you go, it shall lead you; when you sleep, it shall keep you; and when you awake, it shall talk with you.
Proverbs
6:23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
Proverbs
6:24 To keep you from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman.
Proverbs
6:25 Do not lust after her beauty in your heart; neither let her take you with her eyelids.
Proverbs
6:26 For by means of a lewd woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life.
Proverbs
6:27 Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?
Proverbs
6:28 Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?
Proverbs
6:29 So he who goes in to his neighbor's wife; whoever touches her shall not be innocent.
Proverbs
6:30 Men do not despise a thief, if he steals to satisfy his soul when he is hungry;
Proverbs
6:31 But if he is found, he shall restore seven-fold; he shall give all the substance of his house.
Proverbs
6:32 But whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding: he who does it destroyeth his own soul.
Proverbs
6:33 He shall get a wound and dishonor; and his reproach shall not be wiped away.
Proverbs
6:34 For jealousy is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance.
Proverbs
6:35 He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though you give many gifts.
Proverbs
7:1 My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you.
Proverbs
7:2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.
Proverbs
7:3 Bind them upon your fingers, write them upon the tablet of your heart.
Proverbs
7:4 Say to wisdom, You are my sister; and call understanding your kinswoman:
Proverbs
7:5 So that they may keep you from the strange woman, from the stranger which flatters with her words.
Proverbs
7:6 For at the window of my house I looked through my casement,
Proverbs
7:7 And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,
Proverbs
7:8 Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house.
Proverbs
7:9 In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night:
Proverbs
7:10 And behold, a woman met him with the attire of a harlot, and subtle of heart.
Proverbs
7:11 (She is loud and stubborn; her feet do not abide in her house:
Proverbs
7:12 Now she is outside, now in the streets, and lies in wait at every corner.)
Proverbs
7:13 So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said to him,
Proverbs
7:14 I have peace-offerings with me; this day I have paid my vows.
Proverbs
7:15 Therefore I came forth to meet you, diligently to seek your face, and I have found you.
Proverbs
7:16 I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt.
Proverbs
7:17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.
Proverbs
7:18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with affection.
Proverbs
7:19 For the good-man is not at home, he has gone on a long journey:
Proverbs
7:20 He has taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.
Proverbs
7:21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she impelled him.
Proverbs
7:22 He goes after her quickly, as an ox goes to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;
Proverbs
7:23 Till a dart strikes through his liver; as a bird hastes to the snare, and does not know that it is for his life.
Proverbs
7:24 Now therefore listen to me, O you* children, and attend to the words of my mouth.
Proverbs
7:25 Do not let your heart decline to her ways, do not go astray in her paths.
Proverbs
7:26 For she has cast down many wounded: yes, many strong men have been slain by her.
Proverbs
7:27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.
Proverbs
8:1 Does wisdom not cry? and understanding put forth her voice?
Proverbs
8:2 She stands on the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
Proverbs
8:3 She cries at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the entrance of the doors.
Proverbs
8:4 To you*, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.
Proverbs
8:5 O you* simple, understand wisdom: and you* fools, be of an understanding heart.
Proverbs
8:6 Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.
Proverbs
8:7 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
Proverbs
8:8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.
Proverbs
8:9 They are all plain to him who understands, and right to those who find knowledge.
Proverbs
8:10 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.
Proverbs
8:11 For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.
Proverbs
8:12 I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of ingenious inventions.
Proverbs
8:13 The fear of YASHUWAH is to hate evil: pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the froward mouth, I hate.
Proverbs
8:14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.
Proverbs
8:15 By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.
Proverbs
8:16 By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.
Proverbs
8:17 I love those who love me; and those who seek me early shall find me.
Proverbs
8:18 Riches and honor are with me; durable riches and righteousness.
Proverbs
8:19 My fruit is better than gold, even fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.
Proverbs
8:20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment.
Proverbs
8:21 That I may cause those who love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.
Proverbs
8:22 YASHUWAH possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
Proverbs
8:23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or before the earth was.
Proverbs
8:24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
Proverbs
8:25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills I was brought forth.
Proverbs
8:26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
Proverbs
8:27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
Proverbs
8:28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
Proverbs
8:29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
Proverbs
8:30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;
Proverbs
8:31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.
Proverbs
8:32 Now therefore listen to me, O you* children: for blessed are those who keep my ways.
Proverbs
8:33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and do not refuse it.
Proverbs
8:34 Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
Proverbs
8:35 For whoever finds me finds life, and shall obtain favor from YASHUWAH.
Proverbs
8:36 But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul: all those who hate me love death.
Proverbs
9:1 Wisdom has built her house, she has hewn out her seven pillars:
Proverbs
9:2 She has killed her beasts; she has mingled her wine; she has also furnished her table.
Proverbs
9:3 She has sent forth her maidens: she cries upon the highest places of the city,
Proverbs
9:4 Whoever is simple, let him turn in here: as for him who wants understanding, she says to him,
Proverbs
9:5 Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled.
Proverbs
9:6 Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.
Proverbs
9:7 He who reproves a scorner, gets shame for himself: and he who rebukes a wicked man gets himself a blot.
Proverbs
9:8 Do not reprove a scorner, lest he shall hate you: rebuke a wise man, and he will love you.
Proverbs
9:9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
Proverbs
9:10 The fear of YASHUWAH is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
Proverbs
9:11 For by me your days shall be multiplied, and the years of your life shall be increased.
Proverbs
9:12 If you are wise, you shall be wise for yourself: but if you scorn, you alone shall bear it.
Proverbs
9:13 A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knows nothing.
Proverbs
9:14 For she sits at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,
Proverbs
9:15 To call passengers who go right on their ways:
Proverbs
9:16 Whoever is simple, let him turn in here: and as for him who wants understanding, she says to him,
Proverbs
9:17 Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.
Proverbs
9:18 But he does not know that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.

Proverbs
10:12 Hatred stirs up strife: but love covers all sins.
Proverbs
10:13 In the lips of him who has understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him who is void of understanding.
Proverbs
10:14 Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.
Proverbs
10:15 The rich man's wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty.
Proverbs
10:16 The labor of the righteous tends to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.
Proverbs
10:17 He is in the way of life who keeps instruction: but he who refuses reproof erreth.
Proverbs
10:18 He who hides hatred with lying lips, and he who utters a slander, is a fool.
Proverbs
10:19 In the multitude of words there is no lack of sin: but he who restrains his lips is wise.
Proverbs
10:20 The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth.
Proverbs
10:21 The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom.
Proverbs
10:22 The blessing of YASHUWAH, it makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.

Proverbs
10:25 As the whirlwind passes, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.
Proverbs
10:26 As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to those who send him.

10:27 The fear of YASHUWAH prolongs days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.
Proverbs
10:28 The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.
Proverbs
10:29 The way of YASHUWAH is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
Proverbs
