1:1 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the unElohimly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers.

1:2 But his delight is in the law of YHWH; and in his law he meditates day and night.

1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in season; its leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.

1:4 The unElohimly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.

1:5 Therefore the unElohimly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

1:6 For YHWH knows the way of the righteous: but the way of the unElohimly shall perish.

2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against YHWH, and against his anointed, saying,

2:3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
Psalms
2:4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh: the Master shall have them in derision.
Psalms
2:5 Then he shall speak to them in his wrath, and trouble them in his sore displeasure.

2:6 Yet I have set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
Psalms
2:7 I will declare the decree: YHWH has said to me, You are my Son; this day I have begotten you.
Psalms
2:8 Ask of me, and I will give you the heathen for your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.

2:9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

2:10 Now therefore be wise, O you* kings: be instructed, you* judges of the earth.

2:11 Serve YHWH with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Psalms
2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you* perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in him.

3:1 YHWH, how are those who trouble me multiplied? many are those who rise up against me.

3:2 There are many who say of my soul, There is no help for him in Elohim. Selah.
Psalms
3:3 But you, O YHWH, are a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head.

3:4 I cried to YHWH with my voice, and he heard me from his holy hill. Selah.

3:5 I laid myself down and slept; I awaked; for YHWH sustained me.

3:6 I will not be afraid of tens of thousands of people, who have set themselves against me on all sides.

3:7 Arise, O YHWH; save me, O my Elohim: for you have smitten all my enemies upon the cheek bone; you have broken the teeth of the unElohimly.

3:8 Salvation belongs to YHWH: your blessing is upon your people. Selah.

4:1 Hear me when I call, O Elohim of my righteousness: you have enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

4:2 O you* sons of men, how long will you* turn my glory into shame? how long will you* love vanity, and seek after falsehood? Selah.

4:3 But know that YHWH has set apart him who is Elohimly for himself: YHWH will hear when I call to him.

4:4 Stand in awe, and do not sin: commune with your* own heart upon your* bed, and be still. Selah.

4:5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your* trust in YHWH.
Psalms
4:6 There are many who say, Who will show us any good? YHWH, lift upon us the light of your countenance.

4:7 You have put gladness in my heart, more than in the time when their grain and their wine increased.

4:8 I will both lay myself down in peace, and sleep; for you only, YHWH, make me dwell in safety.

5:1 Give ear to my words, O YHWH, consider my meditation.

5:2 Listen to the voice of my cry, my King, and my Elohim: for to you I will pray.

5:3 My voice you shall hear in the morning, O YHWH; in the morning I will direct my prayer to you, and will look up.

5:4 For you are not a Elohim who has pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with you.

5:5 The foolish shall not stand in your sight: you hate all workers of iniquity.

5:6 You shall destroy those who speak falsehood: YHWH will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

5:7 But as for me, I will come into your house in the multitude of your mercy: and in your fear I will worship towards your holy temple.

5:8 Lead me, O YHWH, in your righteousness, because of my enemies; make your way straight before my face.

5:9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is wickedness; their throat is an open tomb; they flatter with their tongue.

5:10 Destroy you them, O Elohim; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against you.

5:11 But let all those who put their trust in you rejoice: let them always shout for joy, because you defend them: let them also who love your name be joyful in you.

5:12 For you, YHWH, will bless the righteous; with favor you will compass him as with a shield.

6:1 O YHWH, do not rebuke me in your anger, neither chasten me in your hot displeasure.

6:2 Have mercy upon me, O YHWH; for I am weak: O YHWH, heal me; for my bones are agitated.

6:3 My soul is also greatly disquieted: but you, O YHWH, how long?

6:4 Return, O YHWH, deliver my soul: Oh save me for your mercy's sake.

6:5 For in death there is no remembrance of you: in the grave, who will give you thanks?

6:6 I am weary with my groaning; all the night I make my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

6:7 My eye is consumed because of grief; it grows old because of all my enemies.

6:8 Depart from me, all you* workers of iniquity; for YHWH has heard the voice of my weeping.

6:9 YHWH has heard my supplication; YHWH will receive my prayer.

6:10 Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly disquieted: let them return and be suddenly ashamed.

7:1 O YHWH my Elohim, I put my trust in you: save me from all those who persecute me, and deliver me:

7:2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is no one to deliver.

7:3 O YHWH my Elohim, if I have done this; if there is iniquity in my hands;
Psalms
7:4 If I have rewarded evil to him who was at peace with me (yes, I have delivered him who without cause is my enemy);

7:5 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yes, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay my honor in the dust. Selah.

7:6 Arise, O YHWH, in your anger, lift up yourself because of the rage of my enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that you have commanded.

7:7 So the congregation of the people shall encompass you: for their sakes therefore return on high.

7:8 YHWH shall judge the people: judge me, O YHWH, according to my righteousness, and according to my integrity that is in me.

7:9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous Elohim tries the hearts and minds.

7:10 My defense is from Elohim, who saves the upright in heart.
Psalms
7:11 Elohim judges the righteous, and Elohim is angry with the wicked every day.

7:12 If he does not turn, he will whet his sword; he has bent his bow, and made it ready.

7:13 He has also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordains his arrows against the persecutors.

7:14 Behold, he travails with iniquity, and has conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.

7:15 He made a pit, dug it, and has fallen into the ditch which he made.

7:16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.

7:17 I will praise YHWH according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of YHWH most high.

8:1 O YHWH our Master, how excellent is your name in all the earth! who have set your glory above the heavens.

8:2 Out of the mouth of babies and infants you have ordained strength because of your enemies, so that you might still the enemy and the avenger.

8:3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers; the moon and the stars, which you have ordained;

8:4 What is man, that you are mindful of him? and the son of man, that you visit him?
Psalms
8:5 For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honor.

8:6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet:

8:7 All sheep and oxen, and even the beasts of the field;
Psalms
8:8 The bird of the air, the fish of the sea, and whatever passes through the paths of the seas.

8:9 O YHWH our Master, how excellent is your name in all the earth!
Psalms
9:1 I will praise you, O YHWH, with my whole heart; I will show forth all your wonderful works.

9:2 I will be glad and rejoice in you: I will sing praise to your name, O you most High.
Psalms
9:3 When my enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at your presence.

9:4 For you have maintained my right and my cause; you sat on the throne judging right.

9:5 You have rebuked the heathen, you have destroyed the wicked, you have blotted out their name forever and ever.

9:6 O enemy, destructions have come to a perpetual end: and you have destroyed cities; their memorial has perished with them.

9:7 But YHWH shall endure forever: he has prepared his throne for judgment.

9:8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

9:9 YHWH will also be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

9:10 And those who know your name will put their trust in you: for you, YHWH, have not forsaken those who seek you.

9:11 Sing praises to YHWH, who dwells in Zion: declare among the people his doings.

9:12 When he makes inquisition for blood, he remembers them: he does not forget the cry of the humble.

9:13 Have mercy upon me, O YHWH; consider my trouble which I suffer from those who hate me, and lift me up from the gates of death:

9:14 So that I may show forth all your praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in your salvation.

9:15 The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid, their own foot is taken.

9:16 YHWH is known by the judgment which he executes: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations who forget Elohim.

9:18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish forever.

9:19 Arise, O YHWH; do not let man prevail: let the heathen be judged in your sight.

9:20 Put them in fear, O YHWH: so that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.

10:1 Why do you stand afar off, O YHWH? why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?

10:2 The wicked in his pride persecutes the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
Psalms
10:3 For the wicked boasts of his heart's desire, and blesses the covetous, whom YHWH abhors.
Psalms
10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after Elohim: Elohim is not in all his thoughts.
Psalms
10:5 His ways are always grievous; your judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffs at them.
Psalms
10:6 He has said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.
Psalms
10:7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.
Psalms
10:8 He sits in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places he murders the innocent: his eyes are secretly set against the poor.
Psalms
10:9 He lies in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lies in wait to catch the poor: he catches the poor, when he draws him into his net.

10:10 He crouches, and humbles himself, so that the poor may fall by his strong ones.
Psalms
10:11 He has said in his heart, Elohim has forgotten: he hides his face; he will never see it.
Psalms
10:12 Arise, O YHWH; O Elohim, lift up your hand: do not forget the humble.
Psalms
10:13 Why does the wicked despise Elohim? he has said in his heart, You will not require it.
Psalms
10:14 You have seen it; for you behold mischief and spite, to requite it with your hand: the poor commits himself to you; you are the helper of the fatherless.

10:15 Break the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till you shall find none.
Psalms
10:16 YHWH is King forever and ever: the heathen have perished out of his land.
Psalms
10:17 YHWH, you have heard the desire of the humble: you will prepare their heart, you will cause your ear to hear:

10:18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, so that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

11:1 I put my trust in YHWH: how can you* say to my soul, Flee as a bird to your* mountain?

11:2 For behold, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, so that they may secretly shoot at the upright in heart.

11:3 If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?
Psalms
11:4 YHWH is in his holy temple, YHWH'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try the children of men.

11:5 YHWH tries the righteous: but the wicked and him who loves violence his soul hates.
Psalms
11:6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and a horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.

11:7 For the righteous YHWH loves righteousness; his countenance beholds the upright.
Psalms
12:1 Help, YHWH; for the Elohimly man ceases; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.
Psalms
12:2 They each speak vanity with his neighbor: with flattering lips and with a double heart they speak.
Psalms
12:3 YHWH shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaks proud things:

12:4 Who have said, With our tongue we will prevail; our lips are our own: who is master over us?
Psalms
12:5 For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now I will arise, says YHWH; I will set him in safety from him who puffs at him.

12:6 The words of YHWH are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

12:7 You shall keep them, O YHWH, you shall preserve them from this generation forever.

12:8 The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

13:1 How long will you forget me, O YHWH? forever? how long will you hide your face from me?

13:2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall my enemy be exalted over me?

13:3 Consider and hear me, O YHWH my Elohim: lighten my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

13:4 Lest my enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those who trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

13:5 But I have trusted in your mercy; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.

13:6 I will sing to YHWH, because he has dealt bountifully with me.

14:1 The fool has said in his heart, There is no Elohim. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is no one who does good.

14:2 YHWH looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any who understood, and sought Elohim.

14:3 They have all gone aside, they have all together become filthy: there is no one who does good, no, not one.

14:4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and do not call upon YHWH.

14:5 There they were in great fear: for Elohim is in the generation of the righteous.
Psalms
14:6 You* have shamed the counsel of the poor, because YHWH is his refuge.
Psalms
14:7 Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! when YHWH brings back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

15:1 YHWH, who shall abide in your tabernacle? who shall dwell in your holy hill?

15:2 He who walks uprightly, works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart.
Psalms
15:3 He who does not backbite with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his neighbor.

15:4 In whose eyes a vile person is despised; but he honors those who fear YHWH. He who swears to his own hurt, and does not change.

15:5 He who does not put out his money to usury, nor takes reward against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.

16:1 Preserve me, O Elohim: for I put my trust in you.
Psalms
16:2 O my soul, you have said to YHWH, You are my Master: my goodness does not extend to you;
Psalms
16:3 But to the saints who are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.

16:4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hurry after another elohim: their drink-offerings of blood I will not offer, nor take their names into my lips.

16:5 YHWH is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup: you maintain my lot.

16:6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; yes, I have a goodly heritage.

16:7 I will bless YHWH, who has given me counsel: my heart also instructs me in the night season.

16:8 I have set YHWH always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

17:3 You have proved my heart; you have visited me in the night; you have tried me, and shall find nothing; I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

17:4 Concerning the works of men, by the word of your lips I have kept myself from the paths of the destroyer.

17:5 Uphold my goings in your paths, so that my footsteps do not slip.

17:6 I have called upon you, for you will hear me, O Elohim: incline your ear to me, and hear my speech.

17:7 Show your wonderful loving-kindness, O you who savest by your right hand those who put their trust in you from those who rise up against them.

17:8 Keep me as the apple of your eye, hide me under the shade of your wings.

17:9 From the wicked who oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who encompass me,

17:10 They are enclosed in their own fat: they speak proudly with their mouth.

17:11 They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;

17:12 Like a lion that is greedy of his prey, and like a young lion lurking in secret places.

17:13 Arise, O YHWH disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, who is your sword:

17:14 From men who are your hand, O YHWH, from men of the world, who have their portion in this life, and whose belly you fillest with your hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babies.

17:15 As for me, I shall behold your face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with your likeness.

18:1 I will love you, O YHWH, my strength.

18:2 YHWH is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my Elohim, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

18:3 I will call upon YHWH, who is worthy to be praised: so I shall be saved from my enemies.

18:4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of unElohimly men made me afraid.

18:5 The sorrows of hell encompassed me: the snares of death seized me.

18:6 In my distress I called upon YHWH, and cried to my Elohim: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

18:7 Then the earth shook and trembled; also the foundations of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was angry.

18:8 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

18:9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.

18:10 And he rode upon a cherub, and flew; yes, he flew upon the wings of the wind.

18:11 He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion around him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.

18:12 At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.

18:13 YHWH also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.

18:14 Yes, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and completely defeated them.

18:15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were uncovered at your rebuke, O YHWH, at the blast of the breath of your nostrils.

18:16 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.

18:17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from those who hated me: for they were too strong for me.

18:18 They attacked me in the day of my calamity: but YHWH was my stay.

18:19 He also brought me forth in a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

18:20 YHWH rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he has recompensed me.

18:21 For I have kept the ways of YHWH, and have not wickedly departed from my Elohim.

18:22 For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me.
Psalms
18:23 I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from my iniquity.

18:24 Therefore YHWH has recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.

18:25 With the merciful you will show yourself merciful; with an upright man you will show yourself upright;

18:26 With the pure you will show yourself pure; and with the froward you will contend.

18:27 For you will save the afflicted people; but will bring down high looks.

18:28 For you will light my candle: YHWH my Elohim will enlighten my darkness.

18:29 For by you I have run through a troop; and by my Elohim I have leaped over a wall.

18:30 As for Elohim, his way is perfect: the word of YHWH is tried: he is a buckler to all those who trust in him.

18:31 For who is Elohim save YHWH? or who is a rock save our Elohim?
Psalms
18:32 It is Elohim who girdeth me with strength, and makes my way perfect.

18:33 He makes my feet like hinds' feet, and sets me upon my high places.

18:34 He teaches my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms.

18:35 You have also given me the shield of your salvation: and your right hand has held me up and your gentleness has made me great.

18:36 You have enlarged my steps under me, and my feet have not slipped.

18:37 I have pursued my enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.

18:38 I have wounded them so that they were not able to rise: they have fallen under my feet.

18:39 For you have girded me with strength to battle: you have subdued under me those who rose up against me.

18:40 You have also given me the necks of my enemies; so that I might destroy those who hate me.

18:41 They cried, but there was no one to save them: even to YHWH, but he did not answer them.

18:42 Then I beat them as small as the dust before the wind: I cast them out as the dirt in the streets.

18:43 You have delivered me from the strivings of the people; and you have made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.

18:44 As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves to me.

18:45 The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid from their close places.

18:46 YHWH lives; and blessed is my rock; and let the Elohim of my salvation be exalted.

18:47 It is Elohim who avenges me, and subdues the people under me.

18:48 He delivers me from my enemies: yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me: you have delivered me from the violent man.

18:49 Therefore I will give thanks to you, O YHWH, among the heathen, and sing praises to your name.

18:50 He gives great deliverance to his king; and shows mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed forever.

19:1 The heavens declare the glory of Elohim; and the firmament shows the work of his hands.

19:2 Day to day uttereth speech, and night to night shows knowledge.

19:3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

19:4 Their line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tabernacle for the sun,

19:5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices as a strong man to run a race.

19:6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit to its ends: and there is nothing hid from his heat.

19:7 The law of YHWH is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of YHWH is sure, making the simple wise.

19:8 The statutes of YHWH are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of YHWH is pure, enlightening the eyes.
Psalms
19:9 The fear of YHWH is clean, enduring forever: the judgments of YHWH are true and righteous altogether.

19:10 They are to be more desired than gold, yes, than much fine gold: also sweeter than honey and the honey-comb.

19:11 Moreover, by them your servant is warned: and in keeping them there is great reward.

19:12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse me from secret faults.

35:20 For they do not speak peace: but they devise deceitful matters against those who are quiet in the land.

35:21 Yes, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye has seen it.

35:22 This you have seen, O YHWH: do not keep silence: O Master, do not be far from me.

35:23 Stir up yourself, and awake to my judgment, even to my cause, my Elohim and my Master.

35:24 Judge me, O YHWH my Elohim, according to your righteousness; and do not let them rejoice over me.

35:25 Do not let them say in their hearts, Ah, we would have it so: do not let them say, We have swallowed him up.

35:26 Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together who rejoice at my hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonor who magnify themselves against me.

35:27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, who favor my righteous cause: yes, let them say continually, Let YHWH be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

35:28 And my tongue shall speak of your righteousness and of your praise all the day long.

36:1 The transgression of the wicked says within my heart, that there is no fear of Elohim before his eyes.

36:2 For he flatters himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity is found to be hateful.

36:3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he has ceased to be wise, and to do good.

36:4 He devises mischief upon his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not abhor evil.

36:5 Your mercy, O YHWH, is in the heavens; and your faithfulness reacheth to the clouds.

36:6 Your righteousness is like the great mountains; your judgments are a great deep: O YHWH, you preserve man and beast.

36:7 How excellent is your loving-kindness, O Elohim! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of your wings.

36:8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of your house; and you shall make them drink of the river of your pleasures.

36:9 For with you is the fountain of life: in your light we shall see light.

36:10 O continue your loving-kindness to those who know you; and your righteousness to the upright in heart.

36:11 Do not let the foot of pride come against me, and do not let the hand of the wicked remove me.

36:12 There have the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.

37:1 Do not fret yourself because of evil doers, neither be you envious against the workers of iniquity.

37:2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

37:3 Trust in YHWH, and do good; so you shall dwell in the land, and truly you shall be fed.

37:4 Delight yourself also in YHWH; and he will give you the desires of your heart.

37:5 Commit your way to YHWH; trust also in him; and he will bring it to pass.

37:6 And he will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your judgment as the noon-day.

37:7 Rest in YHWH, and wait patiently for him: do not fret yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: do not fret yourself, it leads only to evil-doing.

37:9 For evil doers shall be cut off: but those who wait upon YHWH, they shall inherit the earth.

37:10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yes, you shall diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

37:12 The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes upon him with his teeth.

37:13 The Master will laugh at him: for he sees that his day is coming.

37:14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as are of upright deportment.

37:15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.

37:16 A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked.

37:17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but YHWH upholds the righteous.

37:18 YHWH knows the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be forever.

37:19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

37:20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of YHWH shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke they shall consume away.

37:21 The wicked borrows, and does not pay again: but the righteous shows mercy, and gives.

37:22 For those who are blessed by him shall inherit the earth; and those who are cursed by him shall be cut off.

37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by YHWH: and he delights in his way.
Psalms
37:24 Though he should fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for YHWH upholds him with his hand.

37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

37:26 He is ever merciful, and lends; and his seed is blessed.

37:27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell forevermore.

37:28 For YHWH loves judgment, and does not forsake his saints; they are preserved forever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

37:29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell in it forever.

37:30 The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgment.

37:31 The law of his Elohim is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

37:32 The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeks to slay him.

37:33 YHWH will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

37:34 Wait on YHWH, and keep his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

37:35 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.

37:36 Yet he passed away, and behold, he was no more: yes, I sought him, but he could not be found.

37:37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

37:38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.

37:39 But the salvation of the righteous is of YHWH: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

37:40 And YHWH will help them, and deliver them: he will deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

38:1 O YHWH, do not rebuke me in your wrath: neither chasten me in your hot displeasure.

38:2 For your arrows stick fast in me, and your hand falleth heavy upon me.

38:3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of your anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.

38:4 For my iniquities have gone over my head: as a heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

38:5 My wounds are offensive, and are corrupt because of my foolishness.

38:6 I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.

38:7 For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.

38:8 I am feeble and grievously broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.

38:9 Master, all my desire is before you; and my groaning is not hid from you.

38:10 My heart pants, my strength fails me: as for the light of my eyes, that also is gone from me.

38:11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my affliction; and my kinsmen stand afar off.

38:12 Those who also seek after my life lay snares for me: and those who seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.

38:13 But I, as a deaf man, did not hear; and I was as a mute man who does not open his mouth.

38:16 For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.

38:17 For I am ready to fall, and my sorrow is continually before me.

38:18 For I will declare my iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.

38:19 But my enemies are lively, and they are strong: and those who hate me wrongfully are multiplied.

38:20 Those who also render evil for good are my adversaries; because I follow the thing that is good.

38:21 Do not forsake me, O YHWH: O my Elohim, do not be far from me.

38:22 Make hurry to help me, O Master my salvation.

39:1 I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I do not sin with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.

39:2 I was mute with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred.

39:3 My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then I spoke with my tongue.

39:4 YHWH, make me to know my end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.

39:5 Behold, you have made my days as a hand-breadth; and my age is as nothing before you: truly every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.

39:6 Surely every man walks in a vain show: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and does not know who shall gather them.

39:7 And now, Master, what do I wait for? my hope is in you.

39:8 Deliver me from all my transgressions: do not make me the reproach of the foolish.

39:9 I was mute, I did not open my mouth; because you did it.

39:10 Remove your stroke away from me; I am consumed by the blow of your hand.

39:11 When you with rebukes do correct man for iniquity, you make his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man is vanity. Selah.

39:12 Hear my prayer, O YHWH, and give ear to my cry; do not hold your peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with you, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.

39:13 O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go from here, and be no more.

40:1 I waited patiently for YHWH; and he inclined to me, and heard my cry.

40:2 He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

40:3 And he has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our Elohim: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in YHWH.

40:4 Blessed is that man who makes YHWH his trust, and does not respect the proud, nor those who turn aside to lies.

40:5 Many, O YHWH, my Elohim, are your wonderful works which you have done, and your thoughts which are toward us, they cannot be reckoned up in order to you: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

40:6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire; you have opened my ears: burnt-offering and sin-offering you have not required.

40:7 Then I said, Behold, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

40:8 I delight to do your will, O my Elohim: yes, your law is within my heart.

40:9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: behold, I have not refrained my lips, O YHWH, you know.

40:10 I have not hid your righteousness within my heart; I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation: I have not concealed your loving-kindness and your truth from the great congregation.

40:11 Do not withhold your tender mercies from me, O YHWH: let your loving-kindness and your truth continually preserve me.

40:12 For innumerable evils have encompassed me: my iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of my head: therefore my heart fails me.

40:13 Be pleased, O YHWH, to deliver me: O YHWH, make hurry to help me.

40:14 Let them be ashamed and confounded together who seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame who wish me evil.

40:15 Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame who say to me, Aha, aha.

40:16 Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you: let those who love your salvation say continually, May YHWH be magnified.

40:17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Master thinketh upon me: you are my help and my deliverer; make no delay, O my Elohim.

41:1 Blessed is he who considers the poor: YHWH will deliver him in the time of trouble.

41:2 YHWH will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and you will not deliver him to the will of his enemies.

41:3 YHWH will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: you will make all his bed in his sickness.

41:4 I said, YHWH, be merciful to me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against you.

41:5 My enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?

41:6 And if he comes to see me, he speaks vanity: his heart gathers iniquity to itself; when he goes abroad, he tells it.

41:7 All who hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.

41:8 An evil disease, they say, cleaves fast to him: and now that he lies he shall rise no more.

41:9 Yes, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who ate of my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.

41:10 But you, O YHWH, be merciful to me, and raise me up, so that I may requite them.

41:11 By this I know that you favorest me, because my enemy does not triumph over me.

41:12 And as for me, you upholdest me in my integrity, and set me before your face forever.

41:13 Blessed is YHWH Elohim of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and amen.

42:1 As the hart pants after the water brooks, so my soul pants after you, O Elohim.

42:2 My soul thirsts for Elohim, for the living Elohim: when shall I come and appear before Elohim?

42:3 My tears have been my food day and night, while they continually say to me, Where is your Elohim?

42:4 When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of Elohim, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude who kept holy-day.

42:5 Why are you cast down, O my soul? and why are you disquieted in me? hope in Elohim: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

44:2 How you drovest out the heathen with your hand, and plantedst them; how you afflictedst the people, and castedst them out.

44:3 For they did not obtain the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but your right hand, your arm, and the light of your countenance, because you were favorable to them.

44:4 You are my King, O Elohim: command deliverances for Jacob.

44:5 Through you we will push down our enemies: through your name we will tread them under who rise up against us.

44:15 My confusion is continually before me, and the shame of my face has covered me,

44:16 For the voice of him who reproacheth and blasphemes; by reason of the enemy and avenger.

44:17 All this has come upon us; yet we have not forgotten you, neither have we dealt falsely in your covenant.

44:18 Our heart has not turned back, neither have our steps declined from your way;

44:19 Though you have severely broke us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.

44:20 If we have forgotten the name of our Elohim, or stretched out our hands to a strange elohim;

44:21 Will Elohim not search this out? for he knows the secrets of the heart.

44:23 Awake, why do you sleep, O Master? arise, do not cast us off forever.

44:25 For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaves to the earth.

45:1 My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made concerning the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

45:3 Gird your sword upon your thigh, O most mighty, with your glory and your majesty.

45:7 You love righteousness, and hate wickedness: therefore Elohim, your Elohim, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.

45:8 All your garments smell of myrrh, aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, by which they have made you glad.

45:9 Kings daughters were among your honorable women: upon your right hand stood the queen in gold of Ophir.

45:10 Listen, O daughter, consider, and incline your ear; also forget your own people, and your father's house;

45:11 So shall the king greatly desire your beauty: for he is your master; worship him.

45:12 And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall entreat your favor.

45:13 The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of worked gold.

45:14 She shall be brought to the king in clothing of needle-work: the virgins her companions who follow her shall be brought to you.

45:15 With gladness and rejoicing they shall be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace.

45:16 Instead of your fathers will be your children, whom you may make princes in all the earth.

45:17 I will make your name to be remembered in all generations: therefore the people shall praise you forever and ever.

46:1 Elohim is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

46:2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth shall be removed, and though the mountains shall be carried into the midst of the sea;

46:3 Though its waters shall roar and be disturbed, though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah.

46:4 There is a river, the streams of which shall make the city of Elohim glad, the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High.

46:5 Elohim is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: Elohim shall help her at the turning of dawn.

48:7 You breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.

49:12 Nevertheless man being in honor does not abide: he is like the beasts that perish.

49:14 Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.

68:17 The chariots of Elohim are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Master is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

68:18 You have ascended on high, you have led captivity captive: you have received gifts for men; even for the rebellious also, so that YHWH Elohim might dwell among them.

68:19 Blessed is the Master, who daily loads us with benefits, even the Elohim of our salvation. Selah.

68:20 He who is our Elohim is the Elohim of salvation; and the issues from death belong to YHWH the Master.

68:29 Because of your temple at Jerusalem kings shall bring presents to you.

69:13 But as for me, my prayer is to you, O YHWH, in an acceptable time: O Elohim, in the multitude of your mercy hear me, in the truth of your salvation.

69:14 Deliver me out of the mire, and do not let me sink: let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters.

69:15 Do not let the flood waters overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and do not let the pit shut her mouth upon me.

69:16 Hear me, O YHWH; for your loving-kindness is good: turn to me according to the multitude of your tender mercies.

69:17 And do not hide your face from your servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.

69:18 Draw near to my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of my enemies.

69:19 You have known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonor: my adversaries are all before you.

69:20 Reproach has broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.

69:21 They also gave me gall for my food; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

69:22 Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.

69:23 Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see; and make their loins continually to shake.

69:24 Pour out your indignation upon them, and let your wrathful anger take hold of them.

69:25 Let their habitation be desolate; and let no one dwell in their tents.

69:26 For they persecute him whom you have smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom you have wounded.

69:27 Add iniquity to their iniquity: and do not let them come into your righteousness.

69:28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

69:29 But I am poor and sorrowful: let your salvation, O Elohim, set me up on high.

69:30 I will praise the name of Elohim with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

69:31 This also shall please YHWH better than an ox or bull that has horns and hoofs.

70:1 Make hurry, O Elohim, to deliver me; make hurry to help me, O YHWH.

70:2 Let them be ashamed and confounded who seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, who desire my hurt.

70:4 Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you: and let those who love your salvation say continually, Let Elohim be magnified.

70:5 But I am poor and needy: make hurry to me, O Elohim: you are my help and my deliverer; O YHWH, make no delay.

71:1 In you, O YHWH, I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

71:2 Deliver me in your righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline your ear to me, and save me.

71:3 Be my strong habitation, to which I may continually resort: you have given commandment to save me; for you are my rock and my fortress.

71:5 For you are my hope, O Sovereign YHWH: you are my trust from my youth.

71:20 You, who have shown me great and severe troubles, will revive me again, and will bring me again from the depths of the earth.

72:1 Give the king your judgments, O Elohim, and your righteousness to the king's son.

72:2 He shall judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with judgment.

72:3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.

72:4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break the oppressor in pieces.

72:6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

72:7 In his days the righteous shall flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endures.

72:17 His name shall endure forever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

73:4 For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.

74:1 O Elohim, why have you cast us off forever? why does your anger smoke against the sheep of your pasture?

74:2 Remember your congregation, which you have purchased of old: the rod of your inheritance, which you have redeemed; this mount Zion, in which you have dwelt.

74:3 Lift up your feet to the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy has done wickedly in the sanctuary.

74:4 Your enemies roar in the midst of your congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.

74:5 A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.

74:6 But now they break down its carved work at once with axes and hammers.

74:7 They have cast fire into your sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling-place of your name to the ground.

74:8 They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of Elohim in the land.

74:9 We do not see our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any who knows how long.

74:10 O Elohim, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme your name forever?

74:11 Why do you withdraw your hand, even your right hand? pluck it out of your bosom.

74:12 For Elohim is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.

74:13 You dividedst the sea by your strength: you broke the heads of the dragons in the waters.

74:14 You broke the head of leviathan in pieces, and gave him to be food for the people inhabiting the wilderness.

74:15 You cleavedst the fountain and the flood: you driedst up mighty rivers.

74:17 You have set all the borders of the earth: you have made summer and winter.

74:20 Have respect to the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.

75:7 But Elohim is the judge: he puts down one, and sets up another.

75:9 But I will declare forever; I will sing praises to the Elohim of Jacob.

75:10 All the horns of the wicked I will also cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.

76:1 Elohim is known in Judah: his name is great in Israel.

76:2 Also in Salem is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.

76:3 There he broke the arrows of the bow, the shield, the sword, and the battle. Selah.

76:4 You are more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.

76:5 The stout-hearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.

76:6 At your rebuke, O Elohim of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

76:7 You, even you, are to be feared: and who may stand in your sight when you are angry?

77:10 And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.

77:11 I will remember the works of YHWH: surely I will remember your wonders of old.

77:20 You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

78:1 Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your* ear to the words of my mouth.

78:2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

78:3 Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.

78:4 We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of YHWH, his strength, and his wonderful works that he has done.

78:5 For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:

78:6 So that the generation to come might know them, even the children who should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:
Psalms
78:7 So that they might set their hope in Elohim, and not forget the works of Elohim, but keep his commandments:
Psalms
78:8 And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that did not set their heart aright, and whose spirit was not steadfast with Elohim.

78:9 The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle.
Psalms
78:10 They did not keep the covenant of Elohim, and refused to walk in his law;
Psalms
78:11 And forgot his works, and his wonders that he had shown them.

78:12 He did marvelous things in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.

78:13 He divided the sea, and caused them to pass through; and he made the waters to stand as a heap.

78:14 In the day-time he also led them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire.
Psalms
78:15 He cleaved the rocks in the wilderness, and gave them drink as out of the great depths.

78:16 He also brought streams out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers.

78:17 And they sinned yet more against him by provoking the Most High in the wilderness.

78:18 And they tempted Elohim in their heart by asking food for their desire.

78:19 Yes, they spoke against Elohim; they said, Can Elohim furnish a table in the wilderness?

78:20 Behold, he smote the rock, so that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?

78:21 Therefore YHWH heard this, and was angry: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel;

78:22 Because they did not believe in Elohim, and did not trust in his salvation:

78:23 Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of heaven,

78:24 And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the grain of heaven.

78:25 Man ate angels' food: he sent them food to the full.
Psalms
78:26 He caused an east wind to blow in the heaven: and by his power he brought in the south wind.

78:27 He also rained flesh upon them as dust, and feathered birds like as the sand of the sea:

78:28 And he let it fall in the midst of their camp, around their habitations.

78:29 So they ate, and were well filled: for he gave them their own desire;

78:30 They were not estranged from their desire: but while their meat was yet in their mouths,

78:31 The wrath of Elohim came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote down the chosen men of Israel.

78:32 For all this they sinned still, and did not believe in his wondrous works.

78:33 Therefore he consumed their days in vanity, and their years in trouble.

78:34 When he slew them, they sought him: and they returned and inquired early after Elohim.

78:35 And they remembered that Elohim was their rock, and the high Elohim their redeemer.

78:36 Nevertheless they flattered him with their mouth, and they lied to him with their tongues.

78:37 For their heart was not right with him, neither were they steadfast in his covenant.

78:38 But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and did not destroy them: yes, many a time he turned his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.

78:39 For he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passes away, and does not come again.

78:40 How often did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert!

78:41 Yes, they turned back and tempted Elohim, and limited the Holy One of Israel.

78:42 They did not remember his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.

79:1 O Elohim, the heathen have come into your inheritance; they have defiled your holy temple; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.

79:2 They have given the dead bodies of your servants to be food for the birds of the heaven, the flesh of your saints, to the beasts of the earth.

79:3 They have shed their blood like water around Jerusalem; and there was no one to bury them.

79:4 We have become a reproach to our neighbors, a scorn and derision to those who are around us.

79:5 How long, YHWH? will you be angry forever? shall your jealousy burn like fire?

79:6 Pour out your wrath upon the heathen who have not known you, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon your name.

79:7 For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his dwelling-place.

79:8 O do not hold former iniquities against us: let your tender mercies speedily succor us: for we are brought very low.

79:9 Help us, O Elohim of our salvation, for the glory of your name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for your name's sake.

79:10 Why should the heathen say, Where is their Elohim? let him be known among the heathen in our sight by avenging the blood of your servants which is shed.

79:11 Let the sighing of the prisoner come before you; according to the greatness of your power preserve those who are appointed to die;

93:1 YHWH reigns, he is clothed with majesty; YHWH is clothed with strength, with which he has girded himself: the world is also established, so that it cannot be moved.

94:4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

94:5 They break your people in pieces, O YHWH, and afflict your heritage.

94:6 They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

94:7 Yet they say, YHWH will not see, neither will the Elohim of Jacob regard it.

94:9 He who planted the ear, shall he not hear? he who formed the eye, shall he not see?

94:10 He who chastises the heathen, shall he not correct? he who teaches man knowledge, shall he not know?

94:11 YHWH knows the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

94:12 Blessed is the man whom you chasten, O YHWH, and teach him out of your law;

94:13 So that you may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit is dug for the wicked.

94:14 For YHWH will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

94:15 But judgment shall return to righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

94:16 Who will rise up for me against the evil-doers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

94:17 Unless YHWH had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

94:18 When I said, My foot slippeth; your mercy, O YHWH, held me up.

94:19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me, your comforts delight my soul.

94:20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with you, which frames mischief by a law?

94:21 They assemble themselves against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

94:23 And he will bring upon them their own iniquity, and will cut them off in their own wickedness; yes, YHWH our Elohim will cut them off.

102:22 When the people are assembled, and the kingdoms, to serve YHWH.

102:23 He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days.

103:10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

103:11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so is his mercy great towards those who fear him.

103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

103:13 Like a father pitieth his children, so YHWH pitieth those who fear him.
