X Exodus

20:1 And Elohim spoke all these words, saying,

X Exodus

20:2 I am YASHUWAH your Elohim, which have brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

X Exodus

20:3 You shall have no other elohims before me.

X Exodus

20:4 You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

X Exodus

20:5 You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I YASHUWAH your Elohim am a jealous Elohim, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

X Exodus

20:6 And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

X Exodus

20:7 You shall not take the name of YASHUWAH your Elohim in vain; for YASHUWAH will not hold him guiltless that takes his name in vain.

X Exodus

20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

X Exodus

20:9 Six days shall you labour, and do all your work:

X Exodus

20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of YASHUWAH your Elohim: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates:

X Exodus

20:11 For in six days YASHUWAH made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore YASHUWAH blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

X Exodus

20:12 Honour your father and your mother: that your days may be long upon the land which YASHUWAH your Elohim gives you.

X Exodus

20:13 You shall not kill.

X Exodus

20:14 You shall not commit adultery.

X Exodus

20:15 You shall not steal.

X Exodus

20:16 You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.

X Exodus

20:17 You shall not covet your neighbour's house, you shall not covet your neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is your neighbour's.

X Exodus

20:18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.

X Exodus

20:19 And they said unto Moses, Speak you with us, and we will hear: but let not Elohim speak with us, lest we die.

X Exodus

20:20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for Elohim is come to prove you*, and that his fear may be before your* faces, that you* sin not.

X Exodus

20:21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where Elohim was.

X Exodus

20:22 And YASHUWAH said unto Moses, Thus you shall say unto the children of Israel, you* have seen that I have talked with you* from heaven.

X Exodus

20:23 you* shall not make with me elohims of silver, neither shall you* make unto you* elohims of gold.

X Exodus

20:24 An altar of earth you shall make unto me, and shall sacrifice thereon your burnt offerings, and your peace offerings, your sheep, and your oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto you, and I will bless you.

X Exodus

20:25 And if you will make me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stone: for if you lift up your tool upon it, you have polluted it.

X Exodus

20:26 Neither shall you go up by steps unto mine altar, that your nakedness be not discovered thereon.
